Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel

Best Western International is the largest hotel chain in the world, with over 4,000 hotels in nearly 80 countries. It is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. They are known for offering free wifi at all their hotels. This hotel, a Best Western Premier (one of the more upmarket hotels), has been family-owned for 50 years and was voted Best Western Hotel of the Year in 2005.

The hotel is located in the village of Kegworth, across the M1 from the airport site. As with many of the hotels near East Midlands, the best way to get to the airport is to drive.

Parking is free for all guests of the hotel. Park and Fly deals are available too. One night’s stay, 15 nights of parking and airport transfer starts from £75.

There are 103 rooms at the hotel, in three types: double, twin and family. Blackout curtains and comfy sheets ensure a good night’s sleep. Wifi is, of course, free. There are also two accessible rooms for disabled guests.

Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 11am.

There are 12 meeting rooms, the largest of which holds 330 people. Again, wifi is free.

The Orchard restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes, an excellent accolade. Breakfast is served there from 7 to 10am midweek and from 7.30 to 10am at the weekend.
