Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel

The Donington Park Farmhouse hotel is an independent hotel set in 20 acres of beautiful farmland on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border. It was formerly a working farm and threshing barn. The 17th century farmhouse has a series of original brick and timber barns which have been sympathetically restored.

Location

The hotel is two kilometres from the airport, just after the junction for Donington Park racing circuit.

Parking

Free parking is available for all guests.

Rooms

There are 19 en-suite bedrooms bedrooms, each individually decorated and many with stunning countryside views. Wifi acess if free throughout the hotel.

Check-in is 2pm, check-out is 10.30am. Both these times are flexible; enquire at the hotel for more details. Breakfast is included with all rates.

Facilities

Two of the rooms are licensed for weddings. Parties and other events for up to 300 people can be organised too. Rooms can also be arranged for conferencing and meetings.

The dining room is open to guests every evening, featuring many locally-sourced dishes, including venison from the hotel’s own deer park. On Friday evenings there are often medieval-style banquets, starting at £25 a head, for which menus can be tailored. Hand-made cheeses, local ale and Leicestershire mead are the sort of things you can expect.

There is also a bar at the hotel, serving up real ales, among other drinks.

Wifi is free throughout the hotel.
