Hilton East Midlands Airport

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is undoubtedly the best known hotel brand in the world, with more than 500 upmarket hotels across 80 countries. This particular hotel has 152 rooms, a pool, a gym and a restaurant.

Location

The hotel is two miles from the airport, at junction 24 of the M1 motorway. As such, it is easiest to travel to the hotel by car.

Parking

On-site parking is available at £5 for 24 hours.

Rooms

There are three types of room: guest rooms, family rooms and deluxe rooms. All are spacious, with 22m² of floor space and have internet (charged) and a TV. Accessible rooms are available but must be booked through the hotel directly. Under 18s stay free in a room with their parents or grandparents, and a room for children is charged at 50 per cent of the first room. Rooms can be booked for day use, too.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is noon. The restaurant. Pavillion, opens for breakfast at 7am every day, as does the coffee bar, Caffè Cino.

Facilities

There are 13 versatile meeting rooms which can cater for between two and 300 people. There is an on-site health club which has a 16-metre swimming pool, fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna and beauty salon.

The restaurant caters to various dietary needs and serves international cuisine. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Under 10s eat and drink for free from the children’s menu.

The lounge, Caffè Cino and the meeting rooms have wireless internet, but it is charged. Pets are allowed at the hotel.
