Travelodge East Midlands Airport

Travelodge is the third biggest hotel brand in the UK, with around 20,000 rooms available across the country. It is owned by Dubai International Capital, itself owned by the government of Dubai and its ruling family.

Location

The hotel is located at the motorway service station next to the airport. However, it’s not really possible to walk to the airport as you have to walk along the verge of a busy road. It is best to stay here if you have a car, otherwise you can get a taxi.

Parking

Free, uncovered public parking for 80 cars is available adjacent to the hotel, but guests must enter their vehicle registration number into the console at hotel reception when checking in to avoid a penalty fee.

Rooms

There are two types of room, family and twin. Family rooms have a pull-out bed. All the rooms are en-suite and come with a TV and tea- and coffee-making facilities, but there is no air conditioning. A lift is available to all bedrooms if required. Early check-in and late check-out are also available, but must be booked.

Disabled rooms are available.

Facilities

The hotel has some meeting facilities. There is a cafe bar but no restaurant, and meals are not available. Wifi is available for a fee.
