If you want to hire a car, there are loads of companies at East Midlands offering all sizes of vehicles. The airport’s official partner is Europcar, but you’ll also find Enterprise, Hertz, National, Avis, EasyHire and a number of smaller companie, including 121, Argus and hirecars.co.uk. A lot of these smaller companies tend to offer better deals.

With so much competition around, it’s a good idea to shop around and barter a little. You might be surprised how much money you can save.

TOP TIP: Until December 18,  Europcar are offering up to 40 per cent off hire. Having said that, make sure you shop around anyway.
